Dean pioneered the heli-ski movement in AK and this year marks our twelfth season of business. Based out of Valdez, AK, we are committed to providing you the highest quality experience possible. Equipment Used
| We utilize helicopters specifically built and engineered for mountain flying. All H2O's pilots are highly trained mountain aviators who work well with our guides and visiting friends. |

Training & Instruction
| We adopt backcountry protocol in all we do; everyone wears a beacon, carries a shovel and probe, and is trained on how to use these things. Our client to guide ratio is 5 to 1 and our emphasis is safe route selection, teamwork, and providing skills to take home. |

Local Lodging
| We are located at the Best Western Valdez Harbor Inn. The hotel is the highest quality hotel in all of Valdez and has a restaurant and lounge on site. It is located on the water at the entrance to the small boat harbor and is just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Valdez. All restaurants and businesses are within a 6 block radius of the hotel. |
