The 11 lifts, including New Mexico's only 8 passenger gondola provide the greatest lift capacity in the state. When the entire mountain is open, there are 55 trails covering 750 acres with a perfect balance of terrain for all abilities.

The Adventure Center is an all day or half day ski instruction program for 4 thru 11 year old. Instruction and equipment rentals are available for all abilities. Snow-making covers top to bottom and over 20 trails or 35% of the terrain. You'll find glades, bumps, trails for cruising and the wide open Apache Bowl for some great skiing and snowboarding.

Ski Apache sits on the northern flank of 12,003 ft. Sierra Blanca peak in south central New Mexico. It is "off the beaten path" and has been written up as one of "skiing's best kept secrets". Elevations are high enough to catch snow, yet the southerly latitude offers a relatively mild winter climate with lots of sunshine. The genuine southwestern atmosphere is a daily mix of Anglo, Hispanics and Apaches as well as visitors from all over the world. All the focus here is in providing great skiing and snowboarding - no real estate or time shares etc.

Enjoy the spectacular views from the top of Apache bowl at 11,500 - you can see 200 miles at a glance on a clear day.

About the Riding
Snowboarding is welcomed anywhere on the mountain. The "fingers" in Apache Bowl are particularly popular as natural half pipes. Progression parks available for people interested in learning in the terrain parks. 3 difficulty levels on the terrain parks.
