Jay Peak is the snowiest resort in the East, with a 20 year average annual snowfall of 377 inches! With more than 20 glades and chutes, Jay Peak offers the best tree-skiing in North America. Vermont's only aerial tram transports up to 60 skiers and riders to the summit in just 7 minutes while the "Flyer" is the longest (7500 ft.) and fastest quad chair lift in the East! Jay Peak is a 4-season resort located in Vermont's pristine Northeast Kingdom in the town of Jay on Route 242. The Northeast Kingdom, two thousand square miles in Orleans, Caledonia and Essex counties, is Vermont's last frontier. The name is credited to Senator George Aiken who remarked in 1949, "You know, this is such beautiful country up here, it ought to be called the Northeast Kingdom." It is the most rural part of the state.
We offer 4 terrain parks ranging from small jib features perfect for beginners, to large scale table-tops, boxes and rails. Stay tuned to our events schedule this season for rail jam, slopestyle, and boardercross dates.
